Step Toward Project Management

Working as project manager its necessary to make a good relationship with developers as well as with the clients. It’s a great opportunity to make a projects in which designer plays the role of a UI designer, tester as well as a project manager. The designer knows each and every detail of designed layout and he/she can easily understand what are the basic requirements of the clients.
One thing, which I have noticed is that whatever the client has mentioned in the project proposal is not the final thing , there should always be some additional features which may add some additional creativity. 
It’s a responsibility of a project manager to discuss it with the rest of the team members including operational manger.  So that it’s clear that how much time it will take to implement the project. Setting up deadlines and dates for finalizing the project help team members to work in coherent fashion.

From a designer perspective, the layout should be designed in such away that all the available space will be equally divided icons will be sharp and the color codes will be according to the theme of the project. Also, from developing point of view it’s very difficult to add additional feature because they make a structure according to the features defined in the design.

There is always a possibility to add an extra feature but its not only the decision which manager will take, its team work to discuss that either its a time consuming thing or not? free library are available to implement the feature in less time? Good manager is one who deliver the project without any bug not in the design nor in functionality. Sometimes developers do not notice minor errors like either the icons aren’t sharp and pixel aren’t perfect, color codes aren’t correct, and text is not in the correct font style…. 
On the other hand functionality bugs are difficult to find because some times the app crashes after repeating the same process again and again, some times the button redirect the page to the wrong page etc
It’s very essential to test the app in a perfect way, the best process is the one in which designer gives the chance to all the team members to find the bugs as such as much as they can, there are some softwares for example Crashlytics  which check that either its crashing due to some bugs remain in the app or not. When the project completes under the deadline, it’s a success  for the whole team.
